Victoria Burai wurde am 12. Mai 1982 als jüngstes Mitglied einer aus Ungarn stammenden Familie in der Stadt Zürich geboren. Sie ist dreisprachig aufgewachsen und schrieb bereits in der Grundschule ihre phantasievollsten Geschichten auf Deutsch. Bevor ihr Weg sie jedoch zur Schriftstellerei geführt hatte, hatte sie zuvor nach der Mittelschule Gesang im Stil von Rock und Pop studiert. Anschließend bereiste sie für einige Zeit England und Schottland, ehe sie in die Schweiz zurückkehrte und kurzzeitig einen Job als Kellnerin in einem Kaffeehaus annahm, seit dieser Zeit arbeitete sie am ersten Teil der vierbändigen Highlandsaga.

Sie lebt noch heute in der Stadt Zürich in einer Wohngemeinschaft, die sie mit ihrer besten Freundin und ihrer Katze Sissi teilt. Als gebürtige Schweizerin und Ungarin setzt sie sich für den Tierschutz ein.

Burai Viktoria 1982. május 12-én, Zürichben (Svájcban) született, egy magyar származású család legfiatalabb tagjaként. Három nyelvet beszélve nőtt fel. Már az alsó osztályokban rendkívül fantáziadús történeteket írt németül. Mielőtt írónő lett, évekig egy magán zeneiskolában tanult énekelni, Pop-Rock stílusban.

Ezek után többször és hosszabb utazásokat tett Angliában és Skóciában. Miután visszatért rövid időre pincérlányként dolgozott egy kávéházban.

Victoria Zürichben él legjobb barátnőjével és Sissi cicájával egy úgynevezett lakásközösségben. Két állampolgársággal rendelkezik, mint született svájci és a szülei után magyar állampolgár. Támogatja az állatvédőket.

Victoria Burai was born on the 12th of May, 1982 as the latest member of a family coming from Hungary in the city of Zurich. She has grown up trilingual and already wrote in the elementary school her stories most full of imagination in German. Before her way had led them, nevertheless, to the writing, it had studied before after the secondary school song in the style of rock and pop. Afterwards she travelled around for some time England and Scotland, before it returned in Switzerland and accepted for a short time a job as a waitress in a coffee house. Victoria started there her first part of the 4-volume Highland saga.

Still today she lives in the city of Zurich in an apartment-sharing community which it divides with her best friend and her cat Sissi. As a Swiss by birth and Hungarian she exerts herself for the protection of animals.
